I think the mayor is a joke. That\u2019s right I said it. He\u2019s a downright laughable, unbelievably ineffective, bumbling idiot of a leader. My mother always told me that if you don\u2019t have anything nice to say, don\u2019t say anything at all. I\u2019ve tried to live by that adage, but today, I simply cannot keep my lips sealed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
How in the world does this fella think that spending more money is going to somehow magically balance the budget? I mean he\u2019s spending big cash on everything from road development, to new hospitals, libraries, you name it, he\u2019s spending it. I even heard some crazy cockamamie investment in inter-dimensional travel?! What\u2019s that all about?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
There are hardworking people out here struggling to pay their bills and feed their families. But the guys in charge would rather spend money on ridiculous contraptions to explore parallel worlds? What\u2019s next? Research in unicorns and fairies? What about talking cats and dwarfs? I tell you things are getting real looney out here and I want no parts of it! You hear me?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Sure, I know, everyone wants the city to be the best it can be. And that takes money. I understand that everyone wants to see the city grow. Well, almost everyone. I personally don\u2019t mind the growth slowing down a bit. I\u2019d like to see us grow at a sustainable rate. Anything that grows too quickly, without a solid foundation, is bound to crumble and fall.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
That\u2019s the truth, and I outta know a thing or two about it. I\u2019ve been a contractor for over thirty five years now. The only way to build something solid, is to ensure that it has a secure foundation. And that\u2019s what Capital City needs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
I have no desire to live in the \u201cBiggest City in the World\u201d or \u201cThe Best City in the World.\u201d I simply want my hometown to remain a safe community for my children, their children and future generations. The only way we can do that is to vote this buffoon out of office.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
If you\u2019re tired of the reckless spending and total lack of effective leadership, remember to show up at the polls and vote old man Johnson out!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
