Traveling from one side of the country to the other truly amazed him. Danny<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>enjoyed the kid\u2019s enthusiasm, and wanted to make sure he enjoyed the trip. They took their time, stopped in cities and towns along the way seeing some of the sights, and getting to know one another. During this time they formed a great bond, like that of a kind uncle and nephew. And all along the way , Danny<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>was prepping Tommy for his role, the role of a lifetime. He was to be the biggest act that Capital City had ever seen!<\/p><p>A humble young man, Tommy didn\u2019t really buy into the hype of show biz, but he was happy to be off the farm and really experiencing the world \u2014 not to mention his destined meeting with Liza Monroe. The closer they got to their destination, his heart seemed to race faster and faster. But he did his best to keep it cool.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>At every stop he shared little demonstrations for his abilities with his new found friend. In their little town, much of the outside world had been kept away from them. He was intrigued by the military recruitment posters, and the advertisements displaying the enemy as evil and fighting to destroy the New Sienna way of life.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>The seriousness of the situation didn\u2019t escape him. The thought of enlisting had crossed his mind. But he\u2019d given his word to Danny, and he couldn\u2019t break his word. Besides, he knew that he was helping someone, and that\u2019s what his life had always been about. This was on reason his mother had been so anxious about him leaving, his heart was too big, and spirit too kind for the mean streets of the biggest city in the world.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>When they finally arrive in Capital City, the pair is greeted by Danny \u2019s wife, daughter, and, production partner. But that\u2019s not all, in anticipation of this big day, Danny<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>had his partner reach out to all their media contacts. Tommy was shocked at the small crowd of strangers waiting to talk to him.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>But all of that faded when he saw her \u2014 Liza Monroe. Looking more beautiful in person than in all the magazines, he knew it was love at first sight. When their eyes met, she blushed, giggled, and looked away slightly. Danny quickly made introductions, the reporters asked a few questions. Tommy wasn\u2019t sure how to answer some of them, being new to the show business and all. But he did know that he\u2019d instantly fallen in love, and he never wanted to be away from Miss Liza again.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>The Show Must Go On<\/b><\/p><p>The young couple would have plenty of time to spend together as they rehearsed for the play\u2019s debut. What they didn\u2019t know about was that buzz was beginning to spread around the city about this new actor who might really be able to fly. Reporters kept showing up trying to get into rehearsals, but Danny<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>refused to let them in. The crew could hear shouting \u201cThis is going to big, big, big!\u201d every day from the lips of their passionate producer. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>The opening night finally arrived, and the tickets are sold out for weeks in advance. The crowd was mesmerized by the entire performance. However, when Tommy flew into the auditorium and swept Liza off her feet and out of the door, audiences were amazed and erupted into thunderous applause.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>After the first showing, Tommy was approached by agents from the Royal Security Service (RIS). They knew that his flying bit was no act, and they wanted him to join the war effort. The Great War was growing in intensity, and they believed he could be the answer they\u2019d been looking for.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Tommy had made a promise to Danny, and he was going to stay true to his word. He\u2019d also just met the love of his life. He planned on proposing soon, and he couldn\u2019t let anything stand in the way of that.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>At least for the time being, the RSS would have to leave him alone.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>The next day, Tommy told Danny about his visitors. Danny shares that the same agents had paid him a visit too. But Tommy let Danny know that he had no intention of breaking his promise.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Tommy and Danny had no idea that spies from the nation of Merconia had been attending the shows, and following their every move. They knew that this flying man was a major threat and something had to be done about it.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>The War Hits Home<\/b><\/p><p>After the show had run for weeks, and everyone was riding high on their success, things took an unexpected turn. As Tommy, Liza, and Danny<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>were leaving the theater, following another sold out show, all of their worlds were flipped upside down.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Suddenly explosion brought the ceiling down upon them.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Tommy was able to shield Liza, but Danny was stuck under the rubble. Tommy was able to get him out, however he was badly injured. He and Liza were both afraid that he wouldn\u2019t make it. As they emerged from the rubble, Tommy could see a car speeding away from the scene. He jumped up and took flight to catch them. Catching up up to the car,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>he forced them to stop, and apprehended the evil-doers.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>As if they knew that all of this would be happening, the RSS agents show up to take the spies into custody. The agents tell Tommy that he must join the fight. That\u2019s the only way he can help prevent something like this from happening again.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Now it had hit too close to home. Tommy had to do something. He couldn\u2019t just sit by and let the bad guys ravage the world. What kind of world would that leave for his future children? He had to do his part.
