New Sienna, a nation called apart to impact the realm in unforeseeable ways. As the epitome of wealth, culture, finance, and entertainment, no one would dare argue its prominence as a leader of the modern world.
To truly understand this country, and its role in the realm, we must explore the complicated history of NNS. One of the most pivotal points came only 40 years ago, in the year 3033. Now known as The Great War, this was the first time in history all the powerful nations of the world found themselves enthralled in battle. It all began with one infamous dictator . . . Emperor Vigo Destruire.
An imposing man from the land of Merkuvia, many say he had the power to sway the masses like no leader who had ever come before him. Along with his wife, General Tempesta Destruire, helping lead the charge, their armies began to take control of nation after nation.
In 3030, Destruire’s army took control of Sungariay and Lingnan.
In 3031 Alkanian, Z’anatolia, and Mystrata fell to the unrelenting attacks of the Merkuvians.
In 3032, Petrovíc and Aali surrendered, hoping to prevent wide scale destruction to their lands and loss of their people.
The NNS Royal government had previously, over the last 100 years, dispatched peace keeping missions across the realm. They had embassies and commercial operations established in many countries, both large and small. Chancellor Fredricks had been keeping a watchful eye of the entire affair. However, when the Emperor and his troops invaded Adham, and targeted the NNS embassy, our nation considered that to be an official act of war.
So in 3033, The Chancellor read the Nation of New Sienna’s Declaration of War against the Nation of Merkuvia for their willful acts of aggression, terror, and the absolute disregard of the 3015 Nuzar’Eil Treaty of Peace.
What followed were four years of intense battles across the realm that devastated the world in so many ways.
The final year was when the tide changed in our favor. That’s when our legendary champion, The Commander entered the war. He and his team were magnificent in battle, turning the tables in a major way. It was he, and his brave troops who are credited with helping win the war for New Sienna and her allies.
At the conclusion of the war, New Sienna proved to be the powerhouse that helped bring down the terrible Emperor Destruire, and his abhorrent troops. Now the darling of the realm, the NNS is positioned to help rebuild the world from all the destruction.
However, there are some who question the Royals involvement in the war. Though the official narrative is inspiring, there have been reports of questionable dealings with less industrialized nations such as Keyoshi and the Keyoshian Islands, and Glacia. Critics also find arguments with the ongoing military presence in the previously occupied countries that had fallen to Destruire. After so much time passing, could they truly need us to be such a guiding force in their future?
